Honeywell Analytics is recruiting a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to work in Poole, Dorset. Its Fixed Instruments technology team are looking for talented and motivated engineers from a wide range of engineering disciplines to develop the next generation of fixed gas detector products.
They are looking for individuals to create innovative design solutions and develop robust products that will be capable of operating to harsh performance standards throughout its long operational lifetime.
They describe the position as follows:
"Creating safety critical software using C and occasional assembler capable of operating continuously in harsh conditions. A knowledge of industrial communication protocols (such as RS485, ModBus, HART®, Foundation Fieldbus) and interfaces would be expected.
