Nordic Semiconductor has signed a global distribution deal with Mouser Electronics.
The distributor will take on Nordic's full range of 2.4GHz and 433/869/915MHz ISM (Industrial, Scientific & Medical) band devices.
“Today’s digital devices are undergoing a fundamental shift… smartphones, tablets, TVs and even cars are serving as hub devices that capture data from small sensors that can monitor everything from footsteps, heart rate, blood pressure, and traffic, to house temperature. Nordic understands this shift,” said Russell Rasor, Mouser v-p of Advanced Technology.
The Scandinavian firm's low power radio chipstes include the the nRF24LE1 and nRF24LU1+, nRF2460 Audio Streamer, nRF905/nRF9E5 Multiband ICs, ANT nRF24AP2 Series, Bluetooth low energy µBlue nRF8001, and various supporting reference designs, development tools, and design kits.
