Dual-row SMT connector family with a 0.8mm pitch

This month, Sharp and Arrow Electronics are giving away 10 Oryx reference designs specifically developed for extremely low power mobile applications, drawing only 26mW when operating at full power. Using Sharp's Memory LCD technology, the display in the Oryx reference design requires just 4µA.

The board is based on low-power components from Sharp, NXP, Analogue Devices and Linear Technology. In normal operating mode the system power input is reduced to around 2.37mA mainly by lowering the processor frequency to 12MHz. The whole system only draws 366µA in sleep mode and the Deep Power Down Mode further reduces power consumption down to 2.27µA.

And the winners are...

In our previous reader offer, AimTTi was giving away two I-prober 520 hand-held probes worth 599 Euros each.

Lucky winners include Mr. H. Ingelberts from Belgium, and Mr R. Turner from the United Kingdom. Both should be receiving the I-prober very soon. Let's wish them some interesting findings.
