Imagination Technologies says it has signed a license agreement with mobile communications and multimedia chipset firm MediaTek
The license agreememnt covers Imagination's PowerVR SGX series5XT graphics processor family.
Taiwan-based MediaTek will design the graphics processor IP in to its SoC devices targeting the digital TV market.
Under the terms of its licensing arrangements Imagination receives license fees, and royalty revenues on shipment of SoCs incorporating Imagination's IP.
