Software developer and marketer Agilysys Inc. said Friday it named Robert Ellis as its chief financial officer, effective Oct. 10.
Ellis, 38, served as Radiant Systems Inc.'s vice president for accounting and financial operations and its principal accounting officer from 2007 until it was bought by NCR Corp. in August. He joined that company in 2003.
Ellis replaces Henry Bond, Agilysys' current chief financial officer, who will remain with the company through Oct. 21, Agilysys said.
Bond joined Agilysys as chief financial officer in October 2010. The company did not give a reason for his departure and did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
