IC Software is recruiting an Embedded Software Engineer, based in Derby and to work in Design and manufacturing services. The job is full-time, on a permanent basis and the successful applicant can expect a salary in the region of £35 - 40k.

New opportunity for a skilled engineer with strong software and hardware ability to join a small engineering company in Derby. The successful candidate should have a relevant degree and 3 yrs plus experience of embedded C programming, assembly level programming of micro-controllers (PIC), CAN, Schematic Entry and PCB Layout.It would also be desirable to have knowledge of Surface Mount Pick & Place inc rework, 3D CAD eg Solid Works, Windows Programming (eg, C Builder / Visual studio), a working knowledge of hydraulics.
The successful candidate must be able to work as part of a small team of engineers as well as having the ability to self-manage and work independently. Candidates should have a wide range of skills as well as being comfortable liaising with clients.
