Dr. Subhrajit Guhathakurta, Director of the Center for Geographic Systems, recently co-edited a special issue, Planning Support Toolkits for Building Sustainable Communities, in the Journal of Urban Technology. Dr. Guhathakurta's is a well known and highly regarded expert in this field. In addition to this special issue, Dr. Guhathakurta recently published the following article in the Journal of Environmental Science and Technology: "Functional Unit, Technological Dynamics, and Scaling Properties for the Life Cycle Energy of Residences".
