Medicaid coverage provider Centene Corp. said Friday it elected Microsoft executive Orlando Ayala to its board of directors.
Ayala's election expands the Centene board to nine directors. He is the chairman of Microsoft Corp.'s emerging markets unit, and the chief adviser to Microsoft Chief Operating Officer Kevin Turner.
Shares of Centene fell 53 cents to $30.48 in morning trading.
